I gots a home!
Just last week I was livin' on the streets, belly fulla bubble gum and a string around my neck. Now I gots me a family. Who knew?
I got adopted by this neat lady and her fella. Gosh thanks, it's always good to be gracious, I always say.
To top it off, I gots me a big sister in this whole sweet deal. She's going to teach me about red balls and gopher holes and show me all the warm patches of sun in the big big house. I even gots me a backyard to dig and find stones to leave as presents for my new family. My head is swimming with tomorrows.
Did I tell you? I also got a name to go with my new home. They call me Pip! It's got spunk, and I'm fulla spunk, let me tell you.
